Match employee giving
There are so many ways for you to leverage your employees’ passions on #GivingTuesday. A common way to get involved is to challenge them to give and to match their contributions. Encourage them to form teams, and pool resources and funds, and create a competitive landscape with society as the ultimate beneficiary.
Highlight your annual giving
Take the day as a time to pat yourself on the back for funds given throughout the year. Draft a press release that shares your annual grant making, CSI funding, or employee engagement.
Global ideas for organizations
For many global companies, this is an opportunity to link country to country operations via the global #GivingTuesday movement. Chances are you can build bridges with colleagues in other areas of the world – take LinkedIn’s example where employee funding was matched 3 to 1. Their 10,000 global employees were able to support a co-worker’s cause of choice and the efforts raised $600,000.
